As always, it's an interesting read. Here are some of the highlights:
In terms of what is most important in looking for a new job, pay was number 1, followed by job security and then benefits. No surprise there.
Warehouse workers overwhelmingly prefer to work the first shift, with 70% of respondents preferring that schedule, far above the 15% who prefer the second shift.
Perhaps somewhat surprising, almost half (49%) prefer a standard week of five eight-hour days, compared to 37% that would rather work four ten-hour shifts.
How much incentive or shift "differential" pay would it take for workers to move from first to second shift?
The average minimum required differential was $1.33 per hour, up a bit from $1.30 in 2019 and 85 cents in 2015.
Workers also like paid time off, naturally enough, with 79% preferring having five paid days off per year versus the 21% that would rather have no paid time off but receive $1.00 more per hour in pay.
What do workers value beside wage rates? 31% cited growth and promotion opportunities as their top choice, versus 25% for improved benefits such as better healthcare and 401ks, and 24% for a "good company culture," most likely meaning a good place to work. (See graphic below.)

Why do workers leave warehouse jobs? 20% said they left last job because for more money elsewhere, while 19% left for better growth opportunities, and 18% that left the region they were in.

Job satisfaction is OK. 14% of respondents said they were "very satisfied" with their current jobs, versus 21% who are just "satisfied." 41% said they were "neutral," 11% "unsatisfied" and 13% "very unsatisfied."
Are workers actively looking for another job? A full 40% said they were looking, versus 36% who indicated they would be interest if a situation presented itself, and 24% who said they were not looking at all.
