Transport Topics, the magazine and web site of the American Trucking Associations (ATA), is fresh out with its annual list of the North America’s top logistics firms for 2025, based on 2024 revenue.

And after being considered for the ranking for the first time last year, Amazon once again led by a bunch. It reported more than $156 billion in sales last year from its third-party seller services, including commissions and related fulfillment and shipping fees, much of that revenue coming through its Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) service, which offers inventory storage and pick, pack and ship capabilities for sellers on its Marketplace platform.

That put it far ahead of number 2 CH Robinson, with had $16.8 billion in relevant revenue in 2024.

The rest of the top 10:

3. GXO Logistics, $11.7 billion

4. JB Hunt, $11.4 billion

5. UPS Supply Chain Solutions, $11.1 billion

6. Expeditors International, $10.6 billion

7. Ryder Systems, $7.7 billion

8. Kuehne + Nagel (North America), $7.1 billion

9. Total Quality Logistics, $6.8 billion

10. Armada Sunset Holdings, $5.8 billion

In terms of trends in 3PL sector for 2024, Transport Topics notes that while a majority of the companies listed on the Top 100 grew revenues in 2024, that growth was mostly modest. At the same time, about a third of the logistics providers on the list posted lower revenue than in 2023, in what was a tough freight environment in 2024.
