In September, the show was awarded with a prestigious Gold 100 Grand Award by Trade Show Executive (TSE). At an awards ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, TSE recognized ProMat as the “Overall Show with the Greatest Ascent,” acknowledging the event's recent success.
The 2023 ProMat show had some 51,000 attendees.
MHI – a trade association that serves the materials handling industry - runs ProMat in Chicago in odd numbered years, and sister show MODEX in even years in Atlanta.
Coincident with the award, John Paxton, CEO of MHI, stated, “ProMat 2025 will be our largest event yet, with over 1,100 exhibitors covering more than 700,000 square feet, all focused on delivering the cutting-edge supply chain solutions that drive the industry forward.”
More details on the 2025 show - to be held March 17-20 at McCormick Place in Chicago – were released by MHI this week.
For example, MHI says there will be more than 1100 exhibitors across a wide swatch of products and technologies. It will also feature four major keynote presentations on key industry trends and almost 200 educational sessions, including a number of presentations at the “Robotics Theater.
“ProMat offers manufacturing and supply chain professionals the unique opportunity to witness in person, in action the vast array of technology and innovations impacting this industry,” said John Paxton, CEO, MHI. “We are thrilled to offer the supply chain community this chance to come together and experience all that ProMat has to offer.”
The four keynote presentations will be as follows:
March 17 Keynote: The Data Effect: The Price of Not Knowing; Paul Zikopoulos, VP of Technology Unit Skills & Enablement at IBM
March 18 Keynote: The AI Opportunity for Supply Chains; Azeem Azhar, host of Bloomberg’s “Exponentially”
