What industry sectors are leasing the most warehouse space?
The answer to that question over the past two years was recently estimated by real estate firm CBRE, and turned into the chart below recently by the Wall Street Journal:

As can be seen, 3PLs top the list with over 110 millon square feet of space secured in 2022 and more than 70 million halfway through 2023.
Pure ecommerce sites repsented just under 20 million square feet in 2023
