eCommere is taking over the world, right? Not so fast.
The recent report on ecommerce sales from the Census Bureau shows a very different scenario.
As can be seen in the graphic below, untl Q2, overall retaill sales grew faster than ecommerce sales for four quarters, often substantiably so:

That has led the share of total US retail sales coming from ecommerce to flatline for five quarters.
