What countries have the largest share of global manufacturing?
We ran across the graphic below in an article on Yahoo.com this week on the need to build out US mining and processing capabilities for key standard metals and the obscure but essential "rare eart" metails key to many electronics and aerospace products, if the US wants to grow its manufacturing sector.
We'll note 2019 is the most recent year for which such data is available.

China obviously dominates the market, with a near 30% share, but number 2 the US has recently see its share hold fairly steady while it declines in Japan and Europe.
