Artificial Intelligence (AI) is all the rage these days in almost every business area, including of course supply chain.
But there is hardly a roadmap in terms of how to plan, design and execute AI-based processes effectively.
Recently, research organization MAPI (The Manufacturing Alliance) took a shot addressing that, with a report on the "Manufacturing Evolution," focused around using AI.
That report included recommendations for adopting AI in manufacturing along six key dimensions, which seem to us to be equally relevant for the broader supply chain as they are for manufacturing.
