The trade war battle between the US and China continues on, with many companies looking to move some or all sourcing away from China - but often struggling to do so.
All of which might cause someone to ask, just which countries have what share of global manufacturing output?
The Wall Street Journal recently published a nice graphic breaking that down, based on data from the UN, as shown below:
China is not surprisingly numbers 1, with a share of 27.1%, well ahead of number 2 the US, with a share of 16.73%
The biggest surprise to SCDigest may be India at number 5 - though a share of only 2.98%.
