In his First Thoughts column this week, SCDigest Editor Dan Gilmore summarized the bi-annial Logistics Performance Index report from the World Bank, which ranks 160 nations on total logistics capbilities. (See What Countries are Tops in Logistics 2018?)
Part of that report, however, takes a look at the growing threats to cyber security, noting that in mid-2017, cyber attacks on global
providers created significant physical supply
chain disruption for weeks.
So the report did some survey results, as shown in the chart below:

As can be seen, logistics professionals from developed countries overwhelmingly see the level of cyber risk growing, while that percentage declines as you move to less developed natons.
We suppose that could be because most of the incidents (at least as reported) were in developed economies, but this is a global risk for sure.
