Amid non-stop chaos regarding US import tariffs on virtually the entire world, the Wall Street Journal last week published the chart below, nicely summarizing the US trade deficit:

As can be seen, despite new tariffs on China dating back to the first Trump administration, the US trade deficit set another new record last year, reaching some $1.2 trillion (imports minus exports).
