The organization recently its inaugural class of its new Hall of Fame. The Independence, OH-based organization has some 4000 members, with a stated mission to support, promote and inspire women in the manufacturing industry.
With the announcement of this first Hall of Fame class, the association said the honorees have "made exceptional contributions to the manufacturing industry and to the advancement of women."
The 15-inductees and the primary companies they are or affiliated with are as follows:

The inductees will be officially welcomed to the hall on Oct. 1 during a ceremony at the association's 10th annual SUMMIT event, like nearly all conferences this year a virtual event due to the coronavirus pandemic.
MHI Partners with Women in Manufacturing
The Women in Manufacturing organization made still more news this week, with the announcement that materials handling industry association MHI has formalized partnership with organization, under which MHI will grow the already established Women in Supply Chain Industry Forum and the annual Women in Industry Conference, along with creating new related content and opportunities for its members.
In March 2020, the Forum was held in conjunction with MHI’s MODEX trade show and conference in Atlanta.
