Each year right around the time of its major event (MODEX or ProMat), MHI releases an "Industry Report," for the last several years in partnership with the consultants at Deloitte.
SCDigest will review the full report soon, but this week we'll feature one of the charts from the 2020 edition, on what actions companies are taking to prepare for a new digital supply chain future.
As shown in the chart below, topping the list is "partnering with vendors" around their technologies, cited by 48% of respondents:

42% said they have started piloting these new age technologies, which range from blockchain to robotics to advanced analystis/AI and more.
Just 30% say they have launched "reskilling" programs for current employees - that's a number that SCDigest believes should be higher than it is.
