The robots are coming to a distribition center near you, and now focused on the tough task of order picking cases and now "eaches" in the face of relentless ecommerce requirements.

What is driving these rapidly growing capabilities in order picking is not really gains in traditonal control software or the mechanics of these new age robots, but rather the use of artificial intelligence.
