Supply Chain News Makers Video Series:

What are the Top Countries in Logistics Competence?

Aug. 10, 2016

Every couple of years, the folks at the World Bank put out a report analyzing the logistics competencies of most nation's across the globe - 160 of them this year, the same as in the last report issued in 2014.

The core of the report is a ranking of those 160 nations from top to bottom based on what is called the Logistics Performance Index (LPI), based on a combination of six different attributes, from the efficiency of customs and border clearance to logistics infrastructure to track and trace capabilities.

For the second report in a row Germany came out on top. Where did the US rank? What about China or Mexico?

Please watch SCTV News anchor Jim Stephens and SCDigest editor Dan Gilmore discuss the 2016 World Bank results and methodology in a clip excerpted from our Supply Chain Video News broadcast released each week in partnership with CSCMP.
