Dr. Karl Manrodt of Georgia College and the Warehouse Education and Research Council (WERC) are back with the annual "DC Metrics Report," first launched all the way back in 2003, and Manrodt has leading the effort for everyone of those years.
Again this he was assisted by Dr. Donnie Williams, also of Georgia College, and Joe Tillman of TSquared Logistics.
In this video, Manrodt takes over for our Dan Gilmore and leads the discussion around three key takeaways from this year's report:
• Some inconsistent data about alignment between strategies and what metric companies use
• What logistics metrics get the most attention from senior management
• Is it time for a more "back to basics" approach given the explosion of KPIs in recent years?
Please view Manrodt, Williams and Tillman as they discuss these interesting topics arising from this year's survey data.
