In SCDigest's weekly review of the stock market performance across a representative group of supply chain software, hardware, transportation and logistics services providers, in a good week for the market, our unweighted index beat it yet again, up a really strong 4.5%, percent, well above the 3.6% rise for the S&P 500 index.
3PL Ryder was the top gainer for the week, up a really strong 18.1%. LTL carriers YRC Worldwide and Old Dominion were next, up 17.4% and 9.1%, respectively. Only four losers for the week, led by supply chain software provider Kinaxis, down 9.2%, and Descartes Systems, down 4.6%.
See performance for the past week, month and year for each stock and the whole group in the chart below. The performance of our index is positive 17.4% for the year, nearly three times the growth of the broader market at +6.4%. Wow.
