The reports were good on a breakout session at the recent CSCMP Edge conference in Anaheim on "Managing Transportation from the Inside Out," led by Mike Regan of TranzAct Technologies.

This week, Regan came on the Supply Chain Television Channel to summarize key points from that presentation with SCDigest editor Dan Gilmore.

Regan explains what managing from the inside out really means, surprisingly says few shippers really have a transportation spend management plan, and identifies a few "wildcards" that could hit transportation budgets hard in 2020.
