Amazon Logistics Moves Making Carriers Nervous

Despite consistent denials of broad plans for offering logistics services, Amazon continues to add capabilities - making carriers and 3PLs nervous.
The latest news: A Wall Street Journal report that saying Amazon is running an electronic freight brokerage service and on-line load portal in five states.
Add to that the impact of new one-day delivery service for Prime members and more, and Amazon'S denials of its logistics ambitions need to be taken with a very large grain of salt.
