With the tremendous interest in Lean and Lean Supply Chains has come a corresponding demand for Lean Training and Education.

Supply Chain Digest has partnered with Transformance Advisors, an industry leader in Lean training and consulting, and The International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA), the leader in supply chain and RFID related certifications, to offer the Certified Lean Masters™ (CLM) training and certification program.

Detailed information about the program, upcoming class schedules, fees course brochures and other information can be found at the Certified Lean Masters web page.

The Fall 2007 schedule has been announced. Each training program includes three 3-part sessions, or nine days of training in total. Between sessions, participants work on actual Lean initiatives at their organizations, with support and feedback from the instructors. The Fall program offers six available programs. Schedule for 2008 will be released soon. On-site programs for companies wishing to train six or more people are also available.

At the conclusion of the training, participants take the certification exam, with those  passing receiving the Certified Lean Master (CLM) designation from ISCEA.

We believe the Certified Lean Master training offers the best content and best value in Lean training,” said Mike Loughrin of Transformance Advisors, developer of the curriculum. “The feedback and benefits from participants has been outstanding.”
