As with other major supply chain conferences and trade shows, we have MHI's MODEX 2014 in Atlanta last week covered like no one else.

Here, we have taken the full day 2 video review and comment and broken out the cool new solutions Gilmore and materials handling editor Cliff Holste found on the show floor into individual segments, so readers can view just the solutions they are most interested in.
We start with a new "omni-directional" sorter from Intralox that Holste says will have a great fit for automated pick and pass systems as well as other applications.

Integratated Systems Design (ISD) introduced what it calls a "mid-load" AS/RS that Holste believes will open up the AS/RS market to a substantial number of companies for which a traditional AS/RS is just too much.

Another Voice solution caught our eye, that being the Voice software in the Cloud system from Voxware, which promises the potential for easier, lower cost implementations.
