Supply Chain News Makers Video Series:
New JDA CEO Bal Dail on Where the Company is Headed

Nov. 24, 2014

It has been a newsworthy year at JDA Software, the industry's largest best-of-breed supply chain and retail software provider, with several thousand customers across the globe.

First came a series of strategy and organizational changes early in the year. That was followed by the dismissal of long-time CEO Hamish Brewer in May, when it was viewed he wasn't embracing the new strategies fast enough.

In the last month, then interim CEO Bal Dail accepted the job on a permanent basis, which was followed a week later by a major "rebranding" launch that included a new logo and tag line - but a lot more than that as well.

How did Bail wind up with the permanent CEO role? What's the rebranding really mean for JDA customers? Will JDA's push for integrated supply chain planning and execution pay off?

We recently had the chance to speak with Dail about all this and more on of our weekly Supply Chain Video News programs from our Supply Chain Television Channel and CSCMP to discuss a variety of questions, which we've broken out as a separate video clip here.

View the excellent video discussion between Dail and SCDigest's Dan Gilmore now below.
