As SCDigest editor Dan Gilmore describes in the video nearby, the web-based tool builds on the success of JDA's overall supply chain assessment tool released in late 2010, using a nearly identical approach, and leverages significant automation on the back end to deliver a customized report to companies in less than 24 hours.
The results nicely integrate a company's level of process and technology maturity with its transportatin profile to delivery truly useful analysis and insight.
JDA is also really sticking with this program, building out a series of these tools across different industry sectors and solution areas. That can be a pretty powerful portfolio in the end.
