The aim of the research was to understand the current practices, priorities and trends in global sourcing and trade management.

We wanted to look at both global trade processes and technology enablement, with the hypothesis that while a relatively small percent of companies have become really good at both,

Most firms are just partially down the path to such global excellence.

Within this broad topic there were several issues of particular interest, including practices relative to total landed cost calculation, lead time estimates, use of Free Trade Zones and more.

The results from the survey were very insightful on these and many other issues.
