to this role, Tom
served as Senior
Vice President –
Global Automotive,
Aerospace, and Industrial.
In this position,
he was responsible
for current operations
and future development
of the automotive,
aerospace, and industrial
business sector.
Mr. Jones had been
in this position
since January of
1999.
Mr.
Jones joined Ryder
in 1988 and has
held a variety of
leadership positions
with the Company.
In 1991, Mr. Jones
moved full-time
into the automotive
division.
During this period,
he was a key member
of the team driving
the rapid development
and growth of the
automotive and industrial
group as the company
expanded this business
sector’s portfolio
both domestically
and globally.
Prior to joining
Ryder Integrated
Logistics, Mr. Jones
started his career
and worked 10 years
in the LTL and truckload
segments of the
transportation industry.
Mr.
Jones holds a Master’s
of Business Administration
degree and a Bachelor’s
of Arts degree in
Business Administration
from the University
of Kentucky in Lexington,
Ky. |
