The aim of the research was to understand current practices, planned improvements, and use of technology in Supply Chain Business Intelligence (BI).
That included specific questions on area that can be considered sub-topics to overall BI, such as data analytics, "Big Data", data visualization and more,

1. Understand current practices in S&OP/Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to see how well companies are really leveraging potential business benefits from S&OP excellence
2. Learn how large the gaps are between perception and reality relative to S&OP performance
3. Assess to what level the more advanced process that define IBP were being used by companies currently

We are quite pleased with the result, and believe the research goals have been met.
