Supply Chain News Makers Video Series:

BCG's George Stalk on Key Supply Chain Issues for Next Several Years

March 9, 2015

George Stalk of Boston Consulting Group is one of the best known management consultants out there, and co-author of the influential book "Competing Againt Time" more than 20 years ago.

A few weeks back, he and SCDigest editor Dan Gilmore both presented to a well-attended meeting of the CSCMP Toronto Roundtable. Stalk focused on several key issues he thinks will impact supply chain management significantly over the next few years.

Those include: the need for "two speed" supply chains in global corporations, and growing issues with transportation congestion and volatility in input costs and more.

Gilmore got the chance to sit down with Stalk before the meeting, in which Stalk summarizes these key issues.

View the excellent video discussion now below - it's good stuff.
