SCDigest has produced more than 150 Videocasts, has deep  expertise in how they work, and a well-proven process for Videocast execution.

The process starts with a discussion between the sponsor(s) and SCDigest editor Dan Gilmore, where the structure and basic details of each individual broadcast will be finalized.

Also determined is a date and time when the broadcast will be pre-recorded. That can involve a trip to our Dayton, OH studio, use of a remote video feed (there are some limitations but it generally works quite well), or a combination of both. In any of these cases, the most “guests” we can handle is three. Two, however, is usually better.

The total broadcast time, before QA, should be about 30-40 minutes.

Dan Gilmore will introduce and moderate the discussion, which should be supported with Powerpoint slides, but often these are used to drive a conversation flow, rather than as a standard webinar “monolog.” There is a great deal of flexibility in the Videocast recording, meaning if mistakes are made, a guest is not happy with what he or she just said, etc.,  the recording can be paused and resumed, and fixed in editing.

Our special Videocast player delivers both video and synchronized slides. That slide timing is made after the video has been filmed and edited. Sponsors will be able to review the Videocast before the” live” date.

On the live date, the broadcast runs as if it were live. At its conclusion, there is a truly live QA for 10-15 minutes. It is expected guest/panelists will be available for that QA session.

After the broadcast, the Iive QA is added to the Videocast, and now a true on-demand version of the program is available.

Questions? We are happy to discuss. But we’ll just say we know how to do this very well.
