Cleary one of the most noticeable supply chain developments over the past few years has been growing recognition of supply chain risk and company adoption of proactive strategies to reduce or mitigate that risk.

It's probably not surprising that supplier risk topped the list, a result especially noteworthy given the recent well-publicized issues Boeing has faced launching its new Dreamliner 787 aircraft due to supplier glitches. Our view: IP infringement risk is probably weighted too low, given the issues we have already seen in China.
