Greg
Andrews, formerly Director of Global Logistics
and Transportation for Adtran, a maker of
computer networking products, announced
last week he has left that role for a faculty
position at Georgia Tech.
Andrews will
become Managing Director of the Executive
Masters in International Logistics (EMIL)
program at the Atlanta-based university.
Prior to
his seven years at Adtran, Andrews was Assistant
Director, International Intermodal Center
for the Port of Huntsville, a multi-modal
transportation cargo hub providing air,
sea, rail, and truck transportation services
for the North Alabama and the Tennessee
Valley Region. Before that, he held positions
in the LTL carrier industry at Smith Transfer
and Yellow Freight Corporation.
Andrews has
been a frequent contributor of comments
to Supply Chain Digest on various topics
and very good at what he does. We wish him
well. |
