Last week, SCDigest Editor Dan Gilmore summarized our analysis of "Who did What" in RFID in 2009. The analysis was based on a summary list of more than 150 RFID-related announcements that were made in various trade publications and press releases services over the year. (See RFID: Who Did What in 2009).

As part of that effort, SCDigest made available a spreadsheet that summarized these announcements by:

  • Company
  • Country
  • Industry
  • Main applications (e.g., asset tracking)
  • Summary description

That spreadsheet was broken into two worksheet, one that sorted the entries by industry, one that sorted them by main application area.

SCDigest reader Wayne Munn, Founder and principal advisor at Getting to Global, did us one better, taking our original spreadsheet and adding some search features at the top of each column, as shown in the figure below:
